Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.
- Degree in a Science related discipline or such qualifications as the employer deems equivalent (e.g.Engineering, Life sciences etc.)
- Previous or current hospital experience working within the field of Sleep Medicine in a Paediatric setting
- Clear understanding of AASM scoring guidelines, ability to follow centre specific scoring guidelines with extensive experience in scoring/analysis of sleep studies
- Experience working as a Sleep Technician performing sleep study setup, computerised sleep monitoring using the Compumedics and Nox systems, and PAP titration of patients overnight
- Experience with initiation and management of patients on CPAP and non-invasive ventilation therapy within the home setting
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work independently and with other team members and as part of a multidisciplinary team
