Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.

  1. Personal experience of caring for someone experiencing mental distress, and demonstrated experience using recovery principles.
  2. A degree in a relevant field is required for payment at Graduate rate.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to plan, implement and evaluate group and individual peer led interventions
  4. Understanding of and commitment to recovery-oriented services and peer involvement in service design, implementation and evaluation.
  5. Ability to work effectively across community and inpatient settings.
  6. Experience in working collaboratively with individuals and groups including the multidisciplinary team; and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external providers, consumers and carers.
  7. Demonstrated effective negotiation, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Excellent computing skills, ability to use Microsoft applications in an office setting. Drivers license, green P acceptable.
