About the opportunity:
Position: Staff Specialist Nuclear Medicine / PET
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Radiology, Medical Imaging Department
The Nuclear Medicine and PET service is integrated with the Medical Imaging Service and provides specialist diagnostic services to hospital departments including Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Cardiology. A close operational and clinical relationship exists with the radiology service which is supported by a comprehensive range of facilities including MRI, CT; US and DSA (Interventional) etc.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package valued up to $496,915 p.a., including:
- Salary range: $210,332 to $266,677 p.a. (L18 – L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
- Regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary)
- Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave.

Requirements:
- Medical degree registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a specialist in Nuclear Medicine o Eligibility for fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). or the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP)
- Evidence of participation in a continuing professional development (CPD) education programme.
- Qualified as a medical practitioner with specialist qualifications and registration, or eligible for registration, as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia in the appropriate discipline.
- All applicants must be awarded SoCP by the THHS Credentialing and SoCP committee. All appointments are subject to maintenance of SoCP within the Clinical Services Capability Framework for the facilities in which clinical work is to be undertaken.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
