- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and current NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel as required in role.
- Minimum five years full time equivalent post graduate experience and a post graduate qualification in a relevant field of practice or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
- Knowledge of research methodology and Good Clinical Research Practice Guidelines standards and experience in the conduct of clinical research trials.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic and clinical service planning.
- Proven skills in clinical teaching, the identification of education needs in the clinical area, and competency in the use of contemporary information systems.
- Demonstrated involvement in the development/change of clinical practice underpinned by evidence based research.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
