What will you bring to the role:

1. Degree in Occupational Therapy with current Occupational Therapy registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated knowledge in mental health assessments and documentation and a working understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act and related regulation.
3. Demonstrated ability to utilise occupational therapy assessments and interventions to support consumers’ recovery utilising independent professional judgement and seeking supervision in line with level of experience, knowledge and skills.
4. An understanding of recovery orientation, including collaborating with consumers, their families and carers to achieve outcomes that support consumers’ recovery.
5. Demonstrated highly effective interpersonal skills, the ability to work autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team,as well as the ability to work effectively with service partners to support consumers’ recovery.
6. Able to participate as a member of the team in quality improvement activities, development of policies and procedures and clinical research.
7. Demonstrated high level written documentation, computer competency and oral communication skills.
8. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
