About the Role:
In this role, you'll provide expert, person-centred care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients and clients. You'll also have the opportunity to lead, guide, and mentor a dedicated team of nurses and midwives, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. Working alongside the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager, you'll help manage daily ward and unit activities, including staffing, performance management, and ensuring efficient service delivery. You'll play a key part in driving change management initiatives and supporting the implementation of practice improvements. Additionally, you'll contribute to the education and development of student nurses and less experienced staff, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical care, monitor patient plans, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve service delivery issues.
- Encourage professional development through clinical teaching and mentorship.
- Contribute to research and clinical audits to improve patient care.
What you'll need:
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience.
- Experience in supervising and developing less experienced staff.
- Demonstrated leadership in nursing practice and service management.
- A commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
