About the role:
This Senior Physiotherapist role is a new and exciting partnership between St Vincent's Hospital and Mission Australia. The position will be a part of the Physiotherapy Department at St Vincent's Hospital but will provide physiotherapy services to Annie Green Court, a Residential Aged Care Facility in Redfern run by Mission Australia.

This will entail the provision of care as well as service planning and development. The position will also have a role in service coordination and supervision for the junior physiotherapist working at Charles Chambers Court, another RACF run by Mission Australia in Surry Hills.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and current Australian Physiotherapy Registration

3. Current Australian Physiotherapy Registration
4. Experienced clinician possessing specialist knowledge and extensive experience in the areas of Geriatric (including but not limited to Orthogeriatrics) Physiotherapy with an emphasis on Residential Aged Care
5. Experience in clinical management, particularly in regards to the provision of services to client groups and in circumstance of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills. This incudes the ability to apply professional knowledge and judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks specific to Geriatric and Residential Aged Care Physiotherapy
6. Experience in the provision of clinical supervision to physiotherapists
7. Demonstrated ability to plan, lead and implement physiotherapy services
