Clinical Nurse Consultant/Specialist

Do you have a passion for Aged Care? The Aged Care Rapid Response Team (ARRT) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to assist in the coordination of the response to Residential Aged Care Facilities.

This position requires working evenings and weekend.

    1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in thethe speciality of Aged Care and /or Community Nursing,post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
    2. Demonstrated skills in comprehensive assessment of older people, and knowledge and/or experience working with Aged Care and Rehabilitation Services and community care.
    3. Demonstrated well developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including computer skills, with demonstrated experience in or willingness to learn and use electronic clinical/medical/patient information and reporting systems.
    4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and problem solve both independently and as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
    5. Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes through evidence-based practice and practice development.
    6. Demonstrated ability to undertake quality improvement activities and promote an environment that encourages the application of these principles.
    7. Current unencumbered NSW Driver’s Licence.
