What You'll be Doing
Provide high quality medical imaging services and care for patients of SWSLHD using current medical imaging safety standards. To demonstrate independent and appropriate professional knowledge and acquire competency in all appropriate clinical and diagnostic tasks.

  1. Current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Medical Radiation Practitioner-Diagnostic Radiography; Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence; Bachelor of medical radiation science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent; ability to work 24/7 rotating roster.
  2. Demonstrate effective clinical and non-clinical communication through the use information technology, written, verbal, and interpersonal and team building skills.
  3. Demonstrate ability to effectively work in a team environment
  4. Demonstrate ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload to achieve outcomes.
  5. Demonstrate ability to actively engage with patients/ clients to understand their needs and enhance service delivery
  6. Knowledge of quality activities and customer service skills
  7. Experience in trauma radiography, general radiography, mobiles, theatre and general screening.
  8. Demonstrate experience/ knowledge in using PACS / RIS including DR technology
  9. Hospital experience in the final years of your study
