Where you'll be working
Prince of Wales Hospital is a 440 bed tertiary referral facility with specialties unique to this campus such as spinal cord injuries and interventional neuroradiology. A new Acute Service Building will be opening early 2023 with state of the art modern facilities aimed at providing an exceptional staff experience and enhanced patient and family outcomes. It includes an expanded Emergency Department and Intensive Care Units, a Community Management Centre, and replacement of multiple existing inpatient wards with contemporary facilities. There will also be new research, education and training spaces, including additional spaces funded by UNSW Sydney, to enable clinical innovation and research, biomedical engineering, and clinical translational research laboratories collocated directly alongside clinical staff providing acute healthcare services.

The hospital is accessible via a light rail service which stops right outside the main entrance, along with a range of bus services. Offering impressive beaches and coastal walks coupled with boutique restaurants, transport links and a vibrant nightlife, you’ll never be short of things to do in this progressive community.
