    1. Being female is recognised as a genuine occupation qualification and is authorisedunder section 31(2h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
    2. Demonstrated experience in providing guidance, leadership, coordination and management of significant projects
    3. Demonstrated high level skills, experience and use of high level professional judgement in providing responses to victims of domestic and family violence and their children and knowledge of health service delivery and referral options for these clients; including legislative and policy context.
    4. Demonstrated capacity to work in partnership and consult with key multidisciplinary and interagency stakeholders to provide a victim and child protection focused response which aims to increase safety at individual and systemic levels.
    5. Extensive post graduate experience working as a Social Worker in child and family setting, including a demonstrated understanding of the health setting, complex health conditions and the impact on wellbeing.
