About the Role:
At SALHN, you will work as part of a team comprised of over 80 staff members, the Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Department in the Division of Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Palliative Care (RAP) provide services across all environments of a patient’s journey (inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and community based). With a diverse patient portfolio encompassing (but not limited to) neurological, orthopaedic and vascular rehabilitation, geriatrics, and palliative care, you will gain invaluable experience and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. You will be working in a collegiate, collaborative, positive and supportive team environment with opportunities for structured supervision, professional development, career progression and experience across different clinical settings.
About you:
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Physiotherapy skills in assessment and management of a broad range of conditions.
- Empathy and ability to work with a range of patient ages and conditions with an ability to act responsibly in an emergency situation.
- General post graduate experience in the area of Physiotherapy care in acute hospital or sub-acute rehabilitation.
