Role details

The Speech Pathology Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for Speech Pathologists (Senior or Clinical Lead) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity

Deliver high-level clinical services and leadership for inpatient and outpatient speech pathology services across the lifespan within Mackay Hospital and Health Service facilities, as a member of the multidisciplinary team.

About the Team

Our Speech Pathology Service delivers care to patients, both children and adults, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. Our Speech Pathologists provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management to children and adults needing help with communication and/or swallowing.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
