Dietician/Nutritionist

What you will bring to the role:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligible for full membership of Dietitians Association of Australia
  2. Extensive experience in clinician nutrition, with evidence of advanced reasoning and practice skills, and knowledge/experience in a range of dietary approaches for obesity (VLEDs, intermittent fasting, motivational interviewing, bariatric surgery etc). Previous work in an obesity service and/or with adult pregnant and paediatric clients is preferred
  3. Extensive clinical experience with chronic and complex diseases and demonstrated high level of knowledge, skills and clinical expertise, with a particular interest in obesity, diabetes and metabolic health
  4. Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Well-developed skills in clinical supervision, student teaching and training
  5. Demonstrated ability to lead and complete quality improvement and service evaluation processes and ensure that evidence-based medicine and bet practice are fostered amongst staff
  6. Demonstrated ability to contribute to service improve via review of service provision, practice development and/or redesign
  7. Evidence of formal research activities in the field of obesity
  8. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel


Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
