Undertake specialised fellowship training in Diagnostic Abdominal Radiology.

About the role

This is a training position for fellowship specialist training in Diagnostic Abdominal Radiology. Candidates must have passed their Part II FRANZCR or equivalent and have completed all necessary registrar training. The aim of this fellowship is to develop the skills required to be a Subspecialist Radiologist in Diagnostic Abdominal Radiology

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following within the context of the “key accountabilities” found in the role description:

  • Clinical – demonstrated clinical experience with appropriate skills, knowledge, and attributes to enable the delivery of quality and focussed care to radiology patients.
  • Quality – understanding the concepts of Quality Management and the role of modern information technology in improving quality in healthcare.
  • Research – knowledge of and commitment to research in medical imaging and it's related disciplines.
  • Communication – possess an effective and high level of interpersonal skills, a high level of communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work with and lead others. 
  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and specialist registration, or eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Completed fellowship Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, or equivalent.
  • Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
  • Appointment to this position as a Senior Registrar requires proof of qualification and specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
