  1. Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
  2. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  3. Knowledge of, and the demonstrated ability to, implement the quality improvement process.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and commitment to evidence based practice.
  6. Demonstrated clinical knowledge, experience and skills in assessing and managing paediatric clients (0-12 years) with a variety of communication disorders.
  7. Knowledge of, and ability to use multidisciplinary teamwork, and to collaborate with other services/organisations relevant to case management and service delivery.
  8. Demonstrated experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse, vulnerable and/or at risk communities ensuring the provision of client/family centred care.
