About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of our Nutrition and Dietetic Services team. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based and quality nutritional care to our patients and will be involved in quality improvement activities and dietetic student supervision. Clinical supervision and professional development opportunities are provided for all staff.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic dietitian who possesses a passion for person-centred care. We welcome applications from people who are self-motivated and who both enjoy and thrive working in a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for a dietitian who has previously worked in busy hospital environments and who can bring a range of clinical knowledge and skills into our team.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia, preferably with APD status

3. Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in a range of clinical areas within an acute hospital setting

4. Demonstrated commitment to professional development, with a minimum of 30 hours of continuing professional development per calendar year

5. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills

6. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and/or research activities

7. Experience working collaboratively with other team members of the health care team as well as working independently

8. Demonstrated competence using computer applications including Cbord and Microsoft Office
