: Clinical Nurse Educator
Selection Criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA and Current Drivers Licence and willingness to use for work purposes This may include driving long distances across the Local Health District.
- Relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications, or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer
- Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes that align with NSW Health's organisation's CORE values of; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment, when interacting with staff, patients, consumers, and carers.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate clinical education at the unit level, and provide support and guidance to ensure an appropriately skilled and qualified nursing and midwifery workforce, working within appropriate models of care.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence informed practice, continuous quality improvement and the maintenance of a learning environment that values and encourages learning and reflective practice
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation, feedback and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, support and engage people in the clinical setting and work professionally in a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and record management systems.
