Digital Metro North (DMN) are looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team on fixed term temporary full-time basis, up to 16 May 2027. DMN is delivering significant capital works over a five-year period that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of the electronic medical record (ieMR), SurgiNet and SAA systems across Metro North Health (MNH).

Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North.  In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.

Key knowledge, skills and experience

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, experience and clinical skills in ieMR SurgiNet and SAA.
  • Experience in collaborating with different teams  in identifying inconsistencies between practice and policy, to implement change.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of ieMR multidisciplinary workflows and device utilisation, in particular workflows within the perioperative and procedure environment.
  • Participation (directly or indirectly) in the delivery of clinical care, act as a clinical resource, advisor, mentor, role model, and technical expert, in relation to ieMR SurgiNet and SAA.
