Deliver clinical services within an integrated mental health service environment, providing direct clinical leadership, support and education regarding the care and management of individuals with complex presentations involving physical and mental health co-morbidities.
Please note: This role can also be filled by a Clinical Nurse as per Role Description.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Social Worker (Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide expertise, advice, education and support to non-mental health professionals
- Contribute to the development of evidenced-based clinical practices, procedures and protocols to achieve consumer health outcomes
- Contribute and participate in the development and implementation of education programs
- Develop and maintain an area of expertise/portfolio
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy/Psychology/Social Work
- AHPRA Registration (applicable roles)
- Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (Social Worker only)
- Driver Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time or permanent part time (part time hrs negotiable)
- Base salary ranging from $107 960 - $115 604per annum, $54.44 - $58.30 per hour
