Pharmacy Services are looking for an Advanced Pharmacist - Team Leader to join their team. The purpose of this position is to provide operational management, clinical practice supervision and strategic leadership for a pharmacy team. The position delivers advanced clinical pharmacy services to stakeholders/consumers within Bayside Health Service and Queensland Health to achieve excellence in patient care, education, and research.

About the Role

  • Facilitate evidence-based practice in interprofessional team members Pharmacy Services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service provision and discharge planning, through implementation and facilitation of quality initiatives, literature reviews, attendance at professional development activities and involvement in research and education.
  • Provide operational advice and direction to the allocated Pharmacy team to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
  • Leads or contributes to Performance Appraisal & Development processes for team members, in conjunction with clinical experts, including contributing to performance management in conjunction with Director as appropriate.
  • Actively contribute to workforce planning and resource management to meet service requirements.
