About the role:

The Senior Occupational Therapist – Clinical Education delivers clinical care and provides leadership and support at a local level to Occupational Therapy Clinical Educators, pre-entry students, new graduates, and health professionals within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) and Central West Hospital and Health Service (CWHHS).

The Senior Occupational Therapist – Clinical Education reports operationally and professionally to the Director Occupational Therapy, with further collaboration and professional support provided by the State-wide Occupational Therapy Clinical Education Program Manager (OTCEP).

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have a tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution as well as current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.

  • High level of knowledge, expertise and skills in contemporary and evidence-based occupational therapy clinical practice.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within teams, with consumers and their families and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead change through the development, implementation and evaluation of quality and service improvement activities.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $152,776 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A hourly rate between $62.75 - $67.53 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
