We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Speech Pathology team. This is a full time, fixed term position based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) Royal Park Campus across the subacute/rehabilitation teams.

Your Opportunity


An exciting opportunity exists for a grade 3 senior clinician, with sub-acute/rehabilitation expertise, to join the RMH Speech Pathology team. Helping to lead a dynamic department & multidisciplinary teams, the Speech Pathologist will be responsible for the assessment and management of a diverse caseload across both inpatient and outpatient services based at the Royal Park Campus.

About You

  • Experience working in subacute/rehabilitation setting;
  • Experience working with dementia population, including CDAMS, desirable;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and in co-operation with others;
  • Clinical skills in comprehensive assessment, diagnostic, management and discharge planning;
  • Strong supervisory skills;
  • Professional behaviour and conduct which reflects self-initiative, confidentiality, self-evaluation and commitment to professional development;
  • Good working knowledge of community support services;
  • Skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs;
  • Commitment to continued professional development;
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload, and effectively prioritise tasks
