About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) believes in providing a highly supportive environment for Occupational Therapists in our Transition program, encouraging professional development and excellence.  Our aim is to provide clinical structured support during the transition to the mental health sector.

This program offers the opportunity for you to consolidate and apply theoretical knowledge by developing skills in a variety of clinical rotations through our Mental Health teams.

This transition role is a supernumerary position within our mental health services with dedicated study time and access to our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Educator.

 

Position overview

  • Two Full Time, Fixed Term Positions available
  • Warrnambool Campus
  • Occupational Therapist Grade 2
  • Salary Range: $86,304.40 - $99,210.80 per annum, plus superannuation

SWH is offering 2 Full Time, 12-month fixed term positions (80hrs per fortnight with monthly ADO)

 

What you bring

The successful Occupational Therapist applicant will bring at least 2 years of professional experience in a sector other than mental health. Transitioning Occupational Therapists employed into these positions will bring discipline specific skills into the sector as well as valuable diversity of experience that will benefit the mental health and wellbeing workforce, such as expertise in physical health, aged care, disability or family violence.
