An exciting opportunity awaits for a passionate and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our esteemed team at Western Health's Mental Health Service. In this role, you will assume a vital position in providing leadership and clinical expertise within the Sunshine Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering exceptional, consumer-centred care to individuals admitted to the unit, as well as their families and carers.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of clinical duties, including conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and delivering psychological interventions through individual and group sessions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care delivery and contribute actively to service development and improvement initiatives.

To be Successful in this Role, you will have:

  • Minimum five (5) years' experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Hold current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Possession of Master's level degree or above in Clinical Psychology.
  • Hold an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to evidence-based practices.
  • Experience working in public mental health settings with diverse patient populations.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with the ability to engage and support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
