A Central NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in Anaesthetics from 04/05/2024 to 18/05/2024.
SHIFTS:
Sat, 4 May 2024 to Sat, 18 May 2024
Hours: 08:00 - 08:00
Face-to-face clinical handover with outgoing or incoming anaesthetists in the ward.
• Provide anaesthesia services at allocated theatre lists, including eye blocks.
• Provide pre-admission clinic services as scheduled.
• Provide on-call anaesthetic and regional anaesthesia services including epidurals across the facility
• Provide critical care services including airway management, ventilator support and haemodynamic support at the facility.
• Provide vascular access support across the facility.
• Provide pain services across the facility.
• Provide neonatal resuscitation services.
• Participate in rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.
• Participate in the training and supervision of students, junior medical officers and registrars.
• Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings, MDT meetings and other clinical meetings as requested.
