A Central NSW hospital requires a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

This is a procedural hospital with a level 3 role delineated maternity unit. Maternity on site with Obstetric and Anaesthetic cover. There are approximately 220 births per year of these we have a caesarean rate of about 25%.

Requirements: Advanced DRANZCOG or FRANZCOG with recency in emergency caesarean section. Obstetrician is working solo with no registrars but does have the support of ED doctors day and night and an on call Anaesthetist if required for emergency needs.
Evidence of a current neonatal resuscitation certificate/PROMPT is required or evidence of being able to perform neonatal resuscitation is a requirement for this position.
