*About the role*

NHS Professionals International is recruiting Sonographers (Ultrasound Technicians) to relocate to the United Kingdom (UK) and work for one of our NHS partner Trusts.

As a Sonographer, you will use imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images of the body to help with diagnosis. You’ll use ultrasounds to create images or videos of all types of areas such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and joints through-out the body.

Some duties may involve:

* Operating imaging equipment, and reviewing images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
* Preparing patients for procedures and educating patients throughout the ultrasound exam
* Identifying normal and abnormal imaging results, communicating a summary of the results, and writing reports to physicians or other healthcare professionals, and alerting physicians to urgent problems

*About you*

To apply for this role, you will have/be:

* 12 months paid experience as a Sonographer
* Sonographer Degree (BSc) or an equivalent qualification

You may also have (but not essential):

* Evidence of English language for Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration
* Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration
