Support Worker (Care Aide) – Peel  


We have immediate opportunities for experienced and passionate community support workers to join Silver Chain Group in the position of Care Aide on both a permanent part time basis. Shifts range from Monday to Sunday between the hours of 7am to 11pm, dependent on client needs across the metropolitan area, and surrounding outer-metropolitan areas.


Applicants will need to demonstrate flexibility and commitment to shifts on offer to ensure continuity of services to our clients.


About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC or Disability.
  • Experience delivering low, moderate and complex care, preferably within the community.
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Wellness Approach (HACC) and understand the concept of early intervention and restorative care.
  • Satisfactory national Police Certificate (on commencement of employment and updated every three years per the Aged Care Act 1997).
  • Current motor vehicle driver’s licence (with no restrictions) and access to a reliable registered motor vehicle with a minimum of third party insurance.

Key responsibilities


Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging their ability to participate in their own care to maintain their independence. Responsibilities can include skin care, toileting, general hygiene, grooming, dressing, fitting and removal of pressure stockings, mobility, fluid intake, feeding, meal preparation, respite and assisting with medication. Support may also be required with general housekeeping, social support and basic first aid.

This opportunity will see you assisting clients based in the below locations so your ability to commit to servicing clients throughout the entire region is essential.


Dawesville, Barragup, Bouvard, Coolup, Dwellingup, Erskine, Falcon, Furnissdale, Halls Head, Hamel, Herron, Nambeelup, North Yunderup, Pinjarra, Preston Beach, Ravenswood, South Yunderup, Wannanup, Waroona, West Pinjarra.





Travel Allowance of $.78 per kilometre for travel between clients
