Kern currently provides services to the Peel Health Campus, which is the Ramsay operated public hospital in Mandurah, to aged care facilities in the Perth metropolitan and Peel regions, as well as community-based services across the lifespan.

Our recent focus into disability services, through the roll out of the NDIS, has enabled Kern to build a true multi-disciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and psychologists. Led by a dedicated Clinical Services Manager and with recent investment in purpose built clinical software, Kern is committed to expanding on its past success as a private provider of public health services.

This position represents a career opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist looking for genuine career development and progression.

This is a full or part time role and due to the diversity of services we offer, can be tailored to the skills and interests of the right candidate. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team the role would ideally work across the lifespan and suit a clinician who would also like the opportunity to lead or mentor other therapists as part of the clinical leadership team.

The role will have the availability to consult from our rooms in Mandurah and Applecross, as well as providing mobile services to the Peel and southern Perth regions.

The position reports to the Clinical Services Manager and ultimately the Managing Director, and has as its overall function, to be a valued member of a highly functioning allied health team.


We are seeking a highly motivated individual and enthusiastic team member with a genuine passion for delivering high quality patient care.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) or approved equivalent and be an AHPRA registered, qualified Physiotherapist.

Success in the role will also be predicated on certain essential personal attributes, such as:

  • The ability to function autonomously but to seek guidance and assistance as needed
  • To contribute as a team player, sharing information and knowledge when necessary
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, enabling awareness of the needs and roles of concerned stakeholders
  • The drive and initiative to review clinical practice and make improvements to ensure best practice interventions.
