About the role
AHP1
The incumbent contributes to the provision of medical imaging services using standard/Radiography equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for clients /patients across a range of plain x-ray specialities, with progressing professional independence.
AHP2
The Radiographer is responsible for more complex radiography within various modalities , using specialised equipment to perform diagnostic medical imaging examinations for clients across a range of clinical specialities, with a minimal professional direction. M
The incumbent provides direction to other radiographers , PDY radiographers, undergraduate students on clinical placement and work experience students.
The incumbent contributes to approved research programs, under professional direction, and departmental quality assurance programs.
Radiographers with Modality experience in CT will be seen as desirable.

Essential Requirements:
Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles a statement of accreditation in Diagnostic Radiography from the Australian Institute of Radiography, or its recognised equivalent (up to July 2012) and then registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (post July 2012).
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
