Metro South Health are looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Occupational Violence Clinical Safety Coordinator to join their team to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of Mental Health.

About the Role
• This role is based in the Princess Alexandra Hospital Emergency Department and provides an outreach service to the hospital for Occupational Violence emergencies with the Safety and Response Security Team.
• Responsible for clinical leadership for Occupational Violence management services through the application of advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competency according to contemporary practice and standards of care.
• Maintain high level of interpersonal and negotiation skills to inform and train the healthcare team of clinical practice updates and research findings within the Occupational violence clinical response management area.
• Responsible for the content expertise for the clinical management of occupational violence specialty to provide the highest standards of safe quality care and clinical nursing practice to meet the requirements for person centred care.
• Accountable for delivery of contemporary nursing practice, patient outcomes and the achievement of associated service performance targets/indicators within the Emergency nursing speciality.
