About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.
This role will coordinate the Endoscopy Services Surveillance and Recall Program, Redcliffe Hospital and maintain the surveillance system which adheres to the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) guidelines to support safe patient care.
