Podiatrist

Prosthetic/Orthotic and Podiatry Services are looking for Podiatrist Renal - Senior to join their team. The successful candidate will manage an allocated workload to deliver active and high risk foot disease care for inpatient and outpatient services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.

About the Role

  • Delivering high quality evidenced based Podiatry active and high risk foot disease clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
  • Contribution to the advancement of quality podiatry and foot disease services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
  • Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
  • Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
