This is your opportunity to join our Pharmacy Team at an entry level, where you’ll learn on the job and be supported to develop your skills and certification to advance a career in Pharmacy.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be responsible for inventory supply, storage, dispensary and pre-packing of pharmaceuticals. This role is task based with a structure throughout the day and rotation through ward supply and dispensary. You’ll supply medications safely and efficiently to wards and departments to support the Pharmacy Team in the care of our patients and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient dispensing records.

Working with the pharmacy team of 20, you’ll communicate effectively with patients, caregiver and appreciate the principles of medication safety. As a part of the wider team of other healthcare professionals in a very active hospital, you’ll have a variety of interactions and diversity in your work every day, in a community that values your contribution to their care.

We offer weekday working hours, Monday to Friday with no weekend or shift work required and we support you with training and development, including study leave days to gain your certifications, scholarship opportunities, structured training and development and networking groups to advance your career.
