Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services are looking for several Clinical Nurse Consultants to join their team. Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) provide inpatient, hospital-based and community mental health and community alcohol and drug services for all age groups at a number of campuses across Metro South Health. The Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MH-HITH) program will provide hospital substitution care, providing inpatient assessment and treatment services outside the hospital setting for people presenting/experiencing with acute episode of mental illness.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of Mental Health Hospital in the Home Program (MH-HITH) for MSAMHS. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and wider MSAMHS Access Services health care team support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of the MH HITH.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) role will provide clinical expertise and leadership to the Mental Health Hospital in the Home Program (MH-HITH) for MSAMHS.
