Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
Providing service as a Telephonist/switchboard operator at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals.  

Responsible for providing a variety of other administrative duties as directed by Manager, Administrative Services.

Blacktown hospital car parking allocation model is changing. There is a managed waitlist for parking for new staff commencing at Blacktown Hospital. This does not apply to staff with a disability parking permit.

Selection Criteria:


1. Demonstrated capacity to provide efficient use of a busy switchboard console and paging system

2. Excellent customer service experience for internal and external customers

3. High level interpersonal skills and communication skills

4. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

5. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and multitask

6. Experience in the health setting and ability to work at both Blacktown & Mt Druitt hospital
