Senior Doctor/SMO - Non Specialist

  • The hospital provides an accident and emergency service as well as maternity and general inpatient services. It also offers several outreach and visiting Specialists services and is a 24 bed facility
  • The rural town is located in the Shire of Banana Central Queensland and is 120 km from the port city of Gladstone
  • Direct economy, home base return - capped @ $1500.00 or mileage @ 0.88c p/km, home base return (if suitable - pre approved). Solo self-contained unit. $50 p/day car allowance. No taxi’s reimbursed.

A Central QLD hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice.


Shift times:
10 hours shifts, with a 30 min lunch break
08:00-18:30 – ED
12:00-22:30 – ED
22:00-08:30 – ED
08:00-18:30 – Ward/DC Summaries/ED Assist

No on-call. ED is a rostered overnight shift.
