We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Mental Health Short Stay Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver expert clinical care to patients presenting with acute mental health needs, including comorbid substance use - Act as a specialist resource for multidisciplinary teams across MHSSU, Emergency Department, and Community Mental Health Services - Support service reform aligned with Tasmania’s Mental Health Reform Program and strategic initiatives Dates: 10th June to 9th September Requirements: - Current AHPRA registration - Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience in acute mental health nursing - Advanced clinical skills and knowledge in mental health care - Strong communication, negotiation, and liaison abilities - Familiarity with the Mental Health Act and relevant legislation - Proven ability in clinical risk management, service development, and quality improvement - Commitment to ongoing professional development - Relevant certificates and competencies - Updated serology and immunisation evidence - National Police Check To Apply: By clicking on 'Apply Now' you will register your interest to work.
