Maternal & Child Health Clinical Nurse Consultant – Thursday Island ABOUT THE ROLE An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join the Maternal & Child Health team on Thursday Island. This short-term contract offers the chance to provide essential care to remote communities while experiencing the unique culture and beauty of the Torres Strait. THE LOCATION Thursday Island, Queensland is a vibrant and scenic destination located at the northern tip of Australia's Torres Strait Islands. Known as the administrative and commercial hub of the region, Thursday Island is rich in culture, history, and natural beauty. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, it offers a unique blend of Indigenous Torres Strait Islander heritage and colonial influences, evident in its landmarks, architecture, and local traditions.
