Jour Café, a small continental café with French flair in the heart of Collingwood Victoria needs a suitably skilled Chef de Partie to join the growing but small kitchen team as it continues to expand. 

We are dedicated to our local community with a focus on sourcing local and healthy produce from ethical and sustainable suppliers. Key details include:

• Part Time, 20-32 hours 
• Day-time hours to start, with an expansion planned to include evening shifts as opening hours extend
• Attractive setting in Collingwood

We are looking for an experienced professional who has the following skills and experience:

• The skills and creativity to produce delicious, quality food
• A minimum of (3) years’ experience in European and Mediterranean cuisine and a good appreciation of and experience in vegetarian cuisine
• Attention to detail in the presentation and quality of our services, with focus on the consistency and flavour, freshness, and visual appeal of our products
• Good knowledge about food safety and product specifications
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Punctual and organised, with a positive attitude towards teamwork

Jour currently opens Monday to Sunday (breakfast & lunch) with the intention of adding dinner service further down the line. We are offering competitive remuneration and a supportive work environment.
