About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Clinical Dietitian to join the CALHN Rehabilitation team, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation care. This position offers a blend of clinical, quality, education, and research responsibilities, ensuring optimal nutrition outcomes for our patients. You will be at the heart of supporting the coordination and provision of dietetic services, providing specialist nutrition care for rehabilitation inpatients, and facilitating their rehabilitation journey, including discharge planning.

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored nutrition interventions aligned with each patient's rehabilitation goals. Your role will involve collaborating with medical staff, allied health professionals, non-government organisations, as well as the patient, their carers, and families to ensure comprehensive and holistic care. About You

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Clinical Dietitian who meets the following key requirements:

  • Qualifications: A degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for full membership with Dietitians Australia.
  • Skills & Experience: Proven ability to implement client-centred, evidence-based practices, with experience in managing complex clinical situations and working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Communication & Interpersonal: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to Improvement: Demonstrated initiative in seeking feedback to improve personal and professional development, as well as experience in supervising students and contributing to service improvements.
