About the Role
Join the dynamic Heart & Lung Program as an Enrolled Nurse, where you'll work alongside skilled Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will range from novice to proficient practice, with the opportunity to grow within a supportive environment. While working under the direction of the Registered Nurse, you will retain full responsibility and accountability for your actions in providing exceptional care to patients.
In this rewarding position, you'll support both emergency and elective inpatient services, including cardiac and respiratory diagnostics, interventional procedures, and rehabilitation. You will also play a key role in the management of patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery and preoperative care. About You
We’re looking for a dedicated Enrolled Nurse with a passion for patient-centred care to join our Heart & Lung Program. The ideal candidate will meet the following key requirements:
- Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience providing nursing care in healthcare settings, with the ability to prioritise tasks and respond to changes in clinical conditions.
- Sound knowledge of the Enrolled Nurse role, relevant legislation, and ethical standards within the healthcare setting.
