About the Role
As a Vascular Surgery Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality clinical care to both patients of and those referred to the Vascular Surgery Unit incorporating delivery of service within CALHN and at NALHN and Country Health sites. You will bring your expertise to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care, ensuring the highest standards of treatment are met. Your contributions will extend beyond direct patient care, as you will actively participate in the teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will be a key player in driving best practices within the hospital, contributing to the design and delivery of exceptional clinical services. You will also have the opportunity to engage in research, furthering advancements in vascular surgery, and provide leadership across the NALHN and Country Health networks, fostering a collaborative approach to improving patient outcomes. - Qualifications: Specialist medical qualification in Vascular Surgery, registrable with the Medical Board of South Australia within 6 months of application.
- Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated excellence in Vascular Surgery and professional integrity in delivering patient care.
- Teamwork & Adaptability: Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing environments.
- Commitment to Improvement: Experience in quality improvement activities and research, with a focus on enhancing clinical practices and standardisation of care.
