Additional information
  1. BSc degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, genetics or equivalent as a major subject.
  2. Extensive experience with laboratory methods including gas and liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry; and experience with electrophoresis, enzyme assays and tissue culture techniques.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated leadership and managerial experiences.
  5. Ability to work in a team environment.
  6. Aptitude for work in a diagnostic laboratory.
  7. Computing skills including MS Office applications and PathNet laboratory information system.
  8. Higher degree, eg, MSc, MPhil or membership or fellowship of an appropriate professional society is a plus.
