Additional information
- BSc degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, genetics or equivalent as a major subject.
- Extensive experience with laboratory methods including gas and liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry; and experience with electrophoresis, enzyme assays and tissue culture techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial experiences.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Aptitude for work in a diagnostic laboratory.
- Computing skills including MS Office applications and PathNet laboratory information system.
- Higher degree, eg, MSc, MPhil or membership or fellowship of an appropriate professional society is a plus.
