To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
- Registered Nurse with current registration to practice from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in acute nursing with evidence of advanced clinical nursing skills and knowledge.
- Relevant tertiary leadership and management qualifications or working towards same.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and professional goals through recognised change management processes.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation.
- Highly developed problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated understanding of the role, function & funding of public hospital within the Australian and NSW Health Systems.
