Selection Criteria
- Extensive operational and management experience working successfully with a range of stakeholders in the management of health services including strategic planning and KPI’s, service development, implementation and evaluation.
- Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Clinical and operational management experience at a senior level, including financial, budgetary and human resource management.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in clinical fields of HIV, hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections including the use of evidence-based interventions.
- Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills together with senior management abilities in change management, conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation; and demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive and effective reports.
- Proven leadership ability to motivate staff, lead and develop effective teams and drive a client care environment focused on continuous quality improvement.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and the capacity to apply knowledge and skills to manage a changing health care environment using innovative improvement strategies.
- Experience in the coordination of quality improvement activities and National Safety and Quality Health Care Standards.
