Clinical Nurse Consultant/Specialist

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Infection Prevention & Control clinician in a leadership role providing support to Primary & Community Health/Northern Sydney Home Nursing Service, and Mona Vale Hospitals.

Where you'll be working
  1. Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with 5 years post registration experience and at least 3 years in the specialty of Infection Prevention and Control. In addition, the applicant must have an approved Post Graduate qualification relevant to the field of practice, or significant evidence of working towards Masters level qualification.Current NSW Driver’s license also required.
  2. Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal skills, ability to implement change, develop direction in clinical practice, and project management skills.
  3. Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems including data management software, and experience in the Development of policies, procedures and speciality education programs.
  4. Demonstrated skills in strategic and clinical service planning including an understanding of organisational behaviour, change management, cultural change processes.
