Description

Armadale Kalamunda Group is seeking to establish a pool of suitably skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapists.

We have immediate and upcoming 6-to-12-month fixed term vacancies in the emergency department and acute medical inpatient area. We are also keen to employ additional casual staff to assist with weekend shifts and leave cover.

We also have senior occupational therapists working in inpatient medical, rehabilitation and palliative care services, the emergency department, home visiting, outpatients, rotational leave cover and mental health areas. Part-time job share of positions is considered for suitable applicants and in line with operational requirements. Most senior occupational therapy positions include line management of staff except for the emergency department and some outpatient roles.

This is a recruitment pool for permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time, fixed term part time, casual appointment/s with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Position Profile: The Senior Occupational Therapist ss part of a multidisciplinary team, plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Occupational Therapy services to patients in the clinical area of the Emergency Department using advanced Occupational Therapy clinical practice skills. Plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care. Practices as a Senior Occupational Therapist and ensures practice is in accordance to the Occupational Therapy professional and registration requirements, standards, codes and guidelines and EMHS policies and guidelines.
