The Women's Health Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Associate Midwife Unit Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

The Associate Midwife Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse/Midwife who supports and works collaboratively with the Midwife Unit Manager role of a defined unit or specific patient/client area. This role provides leadership and direction to nursing and midwifery staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provisions of operations and Human Resource Management consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Women's Health Unit.
